Minister: Russia’s industrial output may advance 2% in Oct-Dec
SOCHI, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output is to rise about 2% in October-December, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin told reporters on Tuesday.
“We expect a positive trend in the processing and manufacturing industries, especially in construction materials. In the next six months, the dynamics is likely to be negative due to an OPEC+ deal,” he said.
The minister added that not industry, but services, investment and construction will be the key economic growth factors in the next six months.
The Federal State Statistics Service earlier said the country’s industrial output grew 1.8% in January-September.
